The Bali Geckos IndoKick program was launched in 2022 with the support of club sponsor Away Bali. The purpose of IndoKick is to bring the great game of AFL to juniors, in particular Indonesians with the hope of AFL becoming a sport of choice for kids across Indonesia.

Previously, the Geckos have run junior training once a week. Indokick will run weekly during the football season Wednesday 5pm – 5:45pm, with our coaches from our senior Geckos squad.

In the near future, with the support of Away Hotel Camakila, we will have coaches travel around Bali to run IndoKick clinics in schools. Our long term objective is to grow the participation numbers playing AFL football, and produce more senior players in our men’s and women’s Geckos teams. Our dream is to see one of our Indonesians from the IndoKick program progress to the AFL and AFLW pathway.
